Federal, State, and Local governments have a history of overspending, overtaxing, and overreaching. A government that acts paternally toward the governed stands in the way of innovation, progress, and prosperity… threatening our republican form of democracy.
President Ronald Reagan warned that government is not the solution to our problems, it is the problem. Almost thirty years later, his words ring true. Unfettered Democrat control on Smith Hill has resulted in the reckless spending of taxpayer dollars, corruption at all levels, and a mounting budget deficit. Solutions are few and far.

What is the Pawtucket Republican City Committee?
The purpose of the Pawtucket Republican City Committee is to find and support Republican candidates for office. The members of the committee set the local election platform and elect the delegates to the State Central Committee (RI GOP). Delegates to State Central (RI GOP) include the City Chairman and six elected by the City Committee.
The City Committee is made up of the six Republican Ward Committees in the city. The members of the ward committees are elected by the voters in election year primaries. Each ward committee has up to Seven members, they each elect officers and may raise funds.
